If there is a place to worship the design gods, this house is the place and the design gods are the architects and designers from Zecc Architecture , Utrecht in the Netherlands. I have seen several church conversions into homes, bars and hotels, but here they managed to contrast the gothic original style of the church with an ultra minimal and modern interior design without creating an uncomfortable feeling of being out of place. They even managed in my opinion to maintain or restore a very zen and peaceful atmosphere as can be felt in churches.
And they did it again with a smaller chapel structure, also in Utrecht. It seems that in this medium size town, a significant number of worship places are design jewels.
