About Soel d

Soel.d is about the home and everything that goes into it to make it wow and unique. 

I am Sophie L, creator and designer at Soel.d. I am originally from France, studied interior design at NYU in New York City and now live in Cyprus.

This is exactly what I want to bring to my work every day:
a very diverse approach and vision of design influenced by the elegance of France,
the craziness and creativity of New York City and the warmth and colors of the Mediterranean.

Strengthened by my life and work experiences, I have opened a design store and showroom in Nicosia to display my creations around the grid theme.

This is my latest obsession and inspiration.  Grids can appear to be rigid but I want them to be fun and moving. There is an 80's touch to them, that I wish to tame and shape into a distinctively 21st century item.

This new concept is the result of my passion for the grid pattern applied to the world of interior design through furniture and decorative objects. It is expressed with the use of materials such as stoneware and mosaic, combined with all the colors of joints the mind can think of, for a very contemporary result allowing customers to co design their pieces of furniture and decorative objects, that will be as unique as their home.
